Eligibility The Southern Scooter Challenge is open to any motorised step-thru scooter rider, provided you:
have an appropriate drivers license
ride a bike that is road legal
understand, and agree to the disclaimer, acknowledging that there are hazards and you are riding totally at your own risk
MUST pre-register through this web site
You are motivated to fundraise for the cause as there is a minimum of $200 to be raise per person
Scooter Size Ideally you will be riding a 50cc scooter capable of doing 50 kms per hour on the open road. You can however ride any size step-through scooter, although given the purpose of the ride, the smaller the better.
Individual or Team If you don't feel you can ride the full journey as an 'INDIVIDUAL RIDER' yourself, that's no trouble you can register as a tag team (being one bike and two or more riders). Please fill out the TEAM registration form and explain in notes if needed. If you have a number of Bikes and Riders and want to register as a team, please fill in the 'TEAM' registration form if you have more than 4 in your team, please advise in the notes and we can add them manually. (Please note although in a TEAM each team member still needs to raise a minimum of $200 for the chosen charity). As the team leader (person completing the form) you must take responsibility for everyone reading, understanding and accepting the disclaimer and eligibility.
Cost There is no cost to participate in The Southern Scooter Challenge. However, the purpose of the event is to raise funds for our chosen charity so we ask that you set-up your own fundraising page and there is a minimum of $200 per person to be raised or you will be removed from the challenge, we always have a waiting list of people that are willing to fundraise.
